If the short route is too easy, but the long route makes your legs shake then the middle route is the goldilocks route for you! The total distance is 74km with a maximum elevation of 1120m.
The first part of the route is the same as that of the short one, the difference is that after Sambuca it continues towards Santa Margherita Belice. You can visit the famous Leopard Museum (MacAdam Tip #2) here.
Catch your breath and taste the typical delicacies of the region in the refreshment point set up in the square.
Then the route continues towards the old town of Montevago, where you can admire "I Percorsi Visivi", artistic installations created in the ruins of the 1968 earthquake. After a few kilometers, you will enter one of the largest green areas in the Belice, the Magaggiara forest, with its beautiful white roads. From there, it's all downhill towards Menfi and the final refreshment point.
